Casey Jones Distillery (Hopkinsville, Ky.) is preparing for the Aug. 21, 2017 Total Solar Eclipse by bottling Casey’s Cut Total Eclipse Moonshine, what it calls the “Official Drink of the 2017 Solar Eclipse.” The company says that the solar eclipse’s point of greatest totality at two minutes and forty seconds is set to happen just 2 miles from Casey Jones Distillery.
Each drop that comes off the still is tested for quality, and bottled with care at this Kentucky small-batch distillery. “Not only is Casey Jones Distillery the best place to see the solar eclipse on Aug. 21, 2017, but between now and then, it’s also the best place to taste the eclipse,” says master distiller Arlen Casey “AJ” Jones. ”

Casey Jones Distillery also produces its original spirit, Casey’s Cut 92 proof Moonshine, as well as flavored moonshine including Casey’s Cut Apple Moonshine, Casey’s Cut Grape Muscadine Moonshine, and Casey’s Cut Peach Moonshine.
Casey Jones Distillery is set to host an event on the days leading up to and during the 2017 solar eclipse. Until then, the Casey’s Cut Total Eclipse Moonshine may be purchased in Kentucky liquor stores carrying Casey Jones Distillery products, or by visiting the distillery in Hopkinsville.
