Lagunitas goes Dutch, Stranahan’s gives us a diamond and House Martell celebrates a big birthday…all on the latest edition of the drinkable week.

• Heineken broke the internet this week when the Dutch corporation announced it had purchased a 50 percent stake in Lagunitas Brewing Company.

• Stranahan’s Colorado whiskey announced the nationwide launch of Stranahan’s Diamond Peak a single malt whiskey combining the contents of of Master Distiller Rob Dietrich’s favorite barrels.

• More than 3,200 guests gathered recently at the Chateau de Chanteloup in Cognac, France for the 300th birthday celebration of Cognac House Martell.
