House Spirits announces national release of Westward American Single Malt whiskey

Portland Ore.’s House Spirits Distillery announced the national release of its Westward American Single Malt whiskey, which the spirits producer describes as “a grain-to-glass celebration of the American pioneer spirit, inspired by the best of the American craft beer and whiskey traditions.”

Tales of the Cocktail: A whisky toast to Canada’s 150th Birthday

Here’s the first of what i’m hoping is many quick video updates from Tales of the Cocktail 2017 in New Orleans. Crown Royal threw a birthday bash, complete with cocktails and cupcakes. Former Morgan Stanley CEO joins Bardstown Bourbon board

The Bardstown Bourbon Company (BBCo) announced today the appointment of John J. Mack to its board of directors. Mack is the former chairman and CEO of Morgan Stanley, having served in those roles from 2005 to 2011.

Garrison Brothers Distillery fills 10,000th bourbon whiskey barrel

On Monday Hye, Texas-based Garrison Brothers Distillery, part of the first wave of small distilleries outside of Kentucky to authentically hand-produce straight bourbon whiskey, filled its 10,000th bourbon barrel.
