Ireland’s Teeling Whiskey releases final bottling of ‘The Revival’

Teeling Whiskey unveiled the fifth and final bottling of “The Revival”, a teelingrevivallimited-edition, award-winning, commemorative Irish single malt. The The Revival Series was originally crafted to celebrate the opening of the Teeling Whiskey Distillery and with that, the revival of the tradition of distilling in Dublin.

The final bottling of The Revival precedes the launch of the first new Dublin distilled whiskey for over 40 years. Teeling Whiskey’s Single Pot Still Irish whiskey, fully distilled in the Teeling Whiskey Distillery in Dublin’s Newmarket, will be released later this year.  Read the rest of this entry

House Spirits announces national release of Westward American Single Malt whiskey

Portland Ore.’s House Spirits Distillery announced the national release of its Westward American Single Malt whiskey, which the spirits producer describes as “a grain-to-glass celebration of the American pioneer spirit, inspired by the best of the American craft beer and whiskey traditions.”

Drinkable Images: Glengoyne Distillery, Dumgoyne, Scotland, U.K.

Glengoyne is one of the easier Scotch distilleries to get to, as it’s barely a half-hour outside of downtown Glasgow. The distillery, draws on more than 180 years of experience, releasing single malt expressions ranging from 10 to 25 years old.
